I loved the story and would recommend it to any one who wants to help young girls make good decisions during their teenage years. It covers enduring values such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I wish someone would have given this book to me at that age. I think it would have saved me from making bad decisions that I regret to this day.Product details

Our world needs more fathers like Horace Dinsmore. What an amazing legacy he has left through Elsie. His perfect love for his daughter made her beautiful to all who saw her.

I love all of Martha Finley's work! All of her series are wonderful!
I enjoyed the book very much. I remember reading it before I was 10 years old. I thought it would be fun to read it with an adult perspective. Things certainly have changed in the care and raising of children.

Elsie Dinsmore is one of the best inspirational series ever written! I have read them all several times as a young girl and am enjoying reading them to my 5 year old DD now!
My daughter and I started reading these together, because I had not heard of them before. We both love them and started looking for the next one, before we finished the first. Sweet stories, and so much better than the sassy, poor role model characters and wimpy story lines of so many books today.
