This book had me on the edge of my seat! Loved the storyline and the continuity was spot on! DARC Ops is one of my favorite series out there right now! Can't wait for next installment!!! Love all Jamie's books
This book will not disappoint you! This whole series is literally on fire! From getting to know Seth and Maya and seeing love happen when you're not looking for it, to the author continuing to evolve the relationships surrounding Monroe Fire Department. You get to be in the center of the Monroe universe. Just sit back and enjoy the read.
I liked Seth & Maya. It was a stand alone, NO CLIFFHANGER. I wasn't tripping over typos every other paragraph. The story held my attention, but I had a little trouble connecting with the characters.
Would I read more from Jamie Garrett? Sure would!
Would I recommend her work? Yes! In my opinion, that is the best rating someone can give - if they like a book enough to recommend it.
Another southern heat book this time we meet Seth he's the squads rookie and the case that he's working on he knows there is something wrong it's just not right. Maya is in town to investigate her brothers death in the fire and to prove his innocence.
The book starts a little slow but then it just grabs you and your off on the journey. The book even though it is a stand alone is inline with the rest of the series and it won't disappoint.

I loved this book. It started a little slowly for me but once it got going I could not put it down. I loved how the heroine was taken in and felt like family by all even when it seemwd her own family abandoned her. This was a suspensful romance that did have a few twist and turns that I didnt see coming. If youre looking for a steamy firefighter romance this is a great read!
Gook book
An excellent, captivating story, well constructed and well told. I felt I knew the characters. The only reason for a 4 star rating instead of a 5 is because of poor proofreading.
